We thoroughly enjoyed working with Lisa Grant in purchasing our new home. She really listened to us and totally picked up on what we were looking for. She was particularly good at walking the tightrope between our two personalities and sometimes completely opposite opinions (battle of the sexes) to arrive at a house that was perfect for both of us. We severely limited her search field to 3 fairly small areas and then put a further restriction of a main floor master bedroom. Unfazed, she announced that she was walking those neighborhoods to talk to property owners to see if anyone would be interested in selling. Unbelievable! Because of that effort, we were able to look at four really nice properties that weren't even on the market yet. When she found our present house, she really helped push that closing ten days earlier than scheduled, thus saving us money in storage and temporary living arrangements. We don't want to rush right out and buy another house, but when we do we'll go find Lisa. Well done!!

I should have written this review in 2019 When Lisa helped us buy our very first home. We were first time home buyers, and this was the first house we put an offer on. She shaped us into really attractive buyers and gave us incredible guidance on forming our offer. The market was moving extremely fast and there were many other offers, but we had signed paper work within 24 hours of her sending us the link to the house.

I also should have written this review in 2021, when Lisa was instrumental in us purchasing our current home on the other side of the country in Virginia. We were looking to move and found a place we loved. I knew we were doing things out of order, but I called her to see if it was possible. She immediately hooked me up with the right lender to help with a bridge loan, and gave me a personal recommendation for an Realtor to help us with the purchase where we were moving. After a whirlwind weekend of phone calls, faxes, and priority mail, we got our new home. There is zero chance this would have happened if I hadn’t first called Lisa

Next we had to sell our home in Colorado, and that was when I really REALLY should have written this review. To say we had a bidding war would be an understatement. It was more like a feeding frenzy! Lisa came over multiple times and guided me through everything that she thought we should do to get the house in the best selling shape. She found high value tweaks and changes that would look really good to potential buyers. After working on those updates, we moved out and then Lisa staged it, bringing in the coolest furniture I’ve ever seen. She brought in a photographer at a very specific time of day, and those pictures made me almost change my mind about selling the house in the first place. We were already in VA when the house hit the market. I was nervous at first, but then it turned into hourly phone calls with the most insane updates. We walked away from that sale making a huge profit on our purchase and selling for significantly more than a near identical house a block away.

If you’re reading this, here’s the bottom line: we looked at a lot of houses online over the years and have had many friends with varied experiences buying and selling houses. With the experience we had of buying and selling our homes with Lisa, I feel confident saying that while there are a lot of people out there who can sell a home, there is nobody out there who does it with the same depth of knowledge, negotiating skill, market foresight, and design expertise as Lisa does.
